What are various Skin Problems & How is it caused?

1. Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease characterised by scales and itchy, dry patches caused by an overactive immune system. It is usually red in colour, however it can be purple on persons with deeper skin tones.

2. Eczema, commonly known as dermatitis, is an inflammatory skin condition characterised by patches of red, dry, flaky skin on the face, neck, upper chest, hands, feet, and below the knees. As previously said, Eczema is most commonly found in children, and the majority of them outgrow it, however it may remain in a few persons into adulthood.

3. Fungal Infection A fungal infection, also called mycosis, is a skin disease caused by a fungus. There are millions of species of fungi. They live in the dirt, on plants, on household surfaces, and on your skin. Sometimes, they can lead to skin problems like rashes or bumps.

4. Pimple Or Acne is a small pustule or papule that develops when the sebaceous or oil glands become clogged. This leads to swollen and red bumps that are filled with pus. These pimples are most likely to occur around puberty stage but can also occur at any age. Pimples, also known as spots are a part of Acne.
